Bluetooth is used to connect the ORPHE CORE to the smartphone. And the wireless communication may be interrupted depending on the communication status.
ORPHE CORE analyzes and records the data in the sensor. Therefore, even if the connection between the app and ORPHE CORE was temporarily interrupted during the running recording, the recorded data won't be affected. If the connection was lost during the recording, the app would automatically reconnect with ORPHE CORE.
<aside> 💡 At the end of the recording, ORPHE CORE on both feet needs to be synchronized with the app. Bring the ORPHE CORE close to the smartphone and keep both feet connected to end recording successfully.

When you close the app while not recording a run, the connection between the app and ORPHE CORE will be automatically disconnected. When you open the app, it will automatically reconnect with ORPHE CORE.
While recording your run, you won't be disconnected if the app is opened in the background.
